one down two more to go

Christmas is a BIG deal here at the Simpson house. WE have three trees!! Thats right THREE!!! This is the small tree with all the miniature ornaments on it! We call it Savannah's tree. It stays in her room. She is becoming quite the Christmas fanatic! She loves to decorate right along side her daddy who was born to decorate! So if you don't want your tree decorated Scott and Savannah will do it! They are a great team!

PUMPKIN DINNER!!

Pumpkin dinner is a long time tradition in our family. It is a dinner that we serve on Halloween to help keep our tummies warm while we are trick or treating. I love pumpkin dinner and so does Scott. So i have continued the family tradition and make it ever year. The last few years I have made smaller pumpkins so that I can give them away to my family who still loves this wonderful dinner!!

She got to measure herself next to the giant pumpkin!
I think october is her favorite time of the year, she had so much fun!
She even got a pony ride! Which right now was the best thing ever.

Craving pickle's and Ice Cream!!

Yup that's right!! Not really I don't have any cravings at all, In fact its hard to remember that I am pregnant because I don't feel anything. Maybe a little more tired than normal but I really feel like that tired fog is lifting and I am doing much better.

So I am 13 1/2 weeks pregnant. The baby is due April 11th. We are excited that this pregnancy stuck! I had a miscarriage back in March, and no luck getting pregnant till August. We told all of our family this Sunday! It was a big surprise!! Everyone keeps asking how did I keep it a secret for so long and its very easy if you forget that you are even pregnant in the first place. Savannah had this shirt on! It was fun to let her tell everyone!
Everyone keeps asking how savannah is taking it and well, the best thing I can say is she is doing just fine. She knows there is a baby but she doesn't really talk about it too much. She does say when my baby comes out then we can play princess and pony's and all her toys!
Well here we go on another adventure in our crazy life!

Time for school

Savannah started pre-school today. She has been really excited about it, talking about all the things she will be doing with her new friends. As we were waiting for the door to open for class to start she suddenly blurted out that she didn't do her homework for school. I told her that she needed to go to school to get homework first. She was a little shy at first until she started noticing the toys. They have my little ponies, playdoh and an ironing board. She gave me a kiss goodbye and went right to playing. She should do just fine. Her teacher, Miss Karen, has been doing this for 20+ years and was great. Look for more posts on her further adventures.
