The Blessing of Ella Pearl

Today I am grateful for a lot of things. Most of all for what Ella Pearl has taught me in the last 4 months. What an amazing child and what an amazing family! I am so grateful for the friendship that I have with this family and for what they have taught me. I am sad to see this family loose Ella for this time on earth but knowing that they will all be together again someday makes me smile on this sad day! Love you Atwood family!! God be with you till we meet again. http://www.theendlesspileoflaundry.blogspot.com/

My baby is not a BABY!!!!

WELL . . . we made it thorough christmas and new years and my birthday now the year can start. I decided to post a picture of savannah's last day in Nursery. She is now old enough for primary!! Apparently I am as well. They have also called me as the sunbeam teacher. I am not savannah's teacher they have split the large class into two nice size classes. WE are surviving barely, church is at 1:00 in the afternoon I don't know why but it is?
Moving on Scott is doing very well at his job! He loves it. Medical and dental benefits started in december and we are so happy to not have to pay out of pocket anymore!!
Other than that we work and work and work some more!! Life is just plugging along and we are enjoying the ride. I am trying to get all my pictures organized on my new computer and as soon as I do I promise more posts. Don't worry we are still here and still alive!

Princesses on ice show

Part of Savannah's Birthday gift was tickets to see Disney Princesses on ice. A few of our friends from Church were all going together so we got 3 tickets. Scott was unable to go. (due to his new job!! Thats another story) So we named a few people that savannah could take with her and she picked "Haddie Starwars" (My mom) Haddie was thrilled to go with us. We took bart and then walked to the oakland arena. We had so much fun. It was a good show. I still think savannah would have enjoyed it more if she was 5. but none the less we waved to the princesses and had a really good time!

Savannah turned 3!!!!

Savannah had a great 3rd birthday. Here are some photos to prove it! She had so much fun with her princess party. i still can't believe I have a 3 year old but hey time fly's when your having fun!

Savannah trying to be mom and dad!

So savannah got into my make up one day and put mascara on. she came out into the kitchen and said "Look Im a mom!!!" how could I not take a picture of this!

It was not more than a day later she colored with ink pen on her face, and said "Look im daddy!!"

I know the pictures don't show it very well but . . . it made me laugh.
I am trying to get better at this blogging thing. I just up loaded a lot of pictures off my camera last night and will be blogging a lot soon!

This is Scott. Shaleah has decided I should type stuff because she feels that I think of more entertaining things to write about. Of course she may want to edit my more creative writings. I am noticing that I may want to type in word and paste to this html editor since there is no spell check. And now... the rest of the story...

So... apparently I spelled everything in the last paragraph correctly because there is spell check on this. Nice. Savannah is turning 3 next month. Shaleah and Stefanie took Savannah to the park to do a photo shoot to send invites to the family for a party. As you can see she is getting bigger. When we took her to Disneyland and Legoland around mother's day she was almost 34 inches tall. By the end of summer she is well over 38 inches tall. If you ask Savannah about her size she will let you know "mommy wants me to stay small for her"

Speaking of speaking she talks non stop at home. When she is in public she is all or nothing. Shaleah took her to a hair appointment the other day and a little old lady was asking about her name, age, etc and Savannah informed her "I can talk" and proceeded to answer her questions. Savannah loves to jump, bounce and run any chance she gets. She also is big into "helping you." She can be with mommy, daddy, or grandma, etc. and needs to be involved in every step of every task you undertake. I hope she always wants to sweep and clean. She has the energy and personality of several kids packed into one. Maybe that's why she's an only child.

Shaleah is still a bow making machine in her free time. she may be adding some pictures of them soon. She needs the computer so, I'll be back later.
